My Goal

Hello my name is Anish Pallod. I am an 8th grade graduate who aims to help creative minds explore the realm of chess, and support people in need. After a grueling pandemic, organizations need support to continue their pursuit of helping society. The goal of this camp is to teach kids chess for one week and donate the proceeds to the Allentown Rescue Mission and the Cetronia Ambulance Corps. The Allentown Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization that helps people who are facing financial difficulty. And the Cetronia Ambulance Corps provides quick ambulance care to residents in the Lehigh Valley.

  • On the first day, we will introduce ourselves, and I will show the tools that we will use during this time.

Anish Pallod

8TH GRADER

Hi! My name is Anish Pallod. I am an incoming 9th grader Parkland Highschool in Pennsylvania and I love chess! I have been playing chess for 7 years and gone to many tournaments in the tri-state area. At PA State Scholastic Championship, I have been a state champion for three years in a row. I have had experiences in teaching by running two prior chess camps along with teaching an after-school-club at an elementary school in my school district. I really love playing and teaching chess. It is a great mind exercise and excellent hobby for life. I am excited to teach other students during this difficult time and see how much they grow and learn! When I'm not playing chess or programming, you can find me playing tennis at my neighborhood court.
